Medicinal product price lists

The prices of medicinal products that, in accordance with the marketing authorisation for the Republic of Croatia, are classified as prescription medicinal products with regard to the method of dispensing and the medicinal products that the marketing authorisation holder intends to market in the Republic of Croatia, are determined by HALMED in accordance with the Medicinal Products Act (Official Gazette, No. 76/13, 90/14 and 100/18) and the Ordinance on the criteria for determining the highest permitted wholesale price of a medicinal product and the exceptional increase in the maximum permitted wholesale price of a medicinal product and the annually calculated price of a medicinal product (Official Gazette, No. 33/19, 72/23).

On its website, HALMED regularly publishes the lists of medicinal products with a set highest permitted wholesale price as well as the list of medicinal products with the exceptional increase in the maximum permitted wholesale price.

The lists of published medicinal product prices in question are available in the spreadsheets below and are for reference purposes.

* The prices for the packaging of medicinal products that, at the time of publication of the annual calculation, were in the process of the determination of the exceptional increase in the maximum permitted wholesale price of a medicinal product, and for which this process was affirmatively concluded, are available in the "List of medicinal products with the exceptional increase in the maximum permitted wholesale price”. The prices for the packaging of medicinal products for which an exceptional increase in the highest permitted wholesale price was not granted after the publication of the annual calculation, and where the marketing authorisation holders have given consent to publish the highest permitted price of the medicinal product, are available in the "List of the highest permitted wholesale prices for medicinal products from the exceptional price increase request”. For the packaging of medicinal products for which an exceptional increase of the highest permitted wholesale price was not granted, and where the marketing authorisation holders, in accordance with legal options, have refused consent to publish the highest permitted price of a medicinal product, HALMED will not publish the highest permitted wholesale price according to the provision of Article 18, paragraph 6 of the ordinance on the criteria for determining the highest permitted wholesale price of a medicinal product and the exceptional increase in the maximum permitted wholesale price of a medicinal product and the annually calculated price of a medicinal product (OG 33/19).

The start date of the validity of the exceptional increase in the maximum permitted wholesale price of a medicinal product set on the basis of an exceptional highest permitted price increase request shall be, in accordance with the provisions of Article 19 of the ordinance on the criteria for determining the highest permitted wholesale price of a medicinal product and the exceptional increase in the maximum permitted wholesale price of a medicinal product and the annually calculated price of a medicinal product in exceptional circumstances (OG 33/19), the fifteenth day following the price being published on the Agency's website. The exceptional increase in the maximum permitted wholesale price of a medicinal product shall be valid until the start date of the validity of the newly determined highest permitted wholesale price of a medicinal product or the exceptional increase in the maximum permitted wholesale price of a medicinal product. * The list contains dual prices of medicinal products, expressed in HRK and EUR.

The start date of the validity of the highest permitted wholesale price of a medicinal product determined on the basis of the notice of the use of the highest permitted price of a medicinal product shall be the date of the publication of the price on the Agency's website. The highest permitted wholesale price of a medicinal product shall be valid until the start date of the validity of the newly determined highest permitted wholesale price of a medicinal product or the exceptional increase in the maximum permitted wholesale price of a medicinal product. * The list contains dual prices of medicinal products, expressed in HRK and EUR.
